Letter From The CEO on Election Night 2020

On the eve of this historic election, we find ourselves awaiting the results of the presidential race, together, at one of the most important crossroads of our generation. We at digitalundivided are more motivated than ever to continue the fight for inclusivity and to advocate for Latina and Black women innovators. This year we witnessed a record-setting voter turnout, and it is no secret that women of color were at the forefront of contributing to that movement.

At digitalundivided, our mission stands. We will continue to support and advance women of color entrepreneurs. We will continue to fight for the economic empowerment of underserved communities. We will continue to define critical social and economic challenges by leveraging our groundbreaking research to examine this ever-evolving world. And we will create systems change by pouring resources into women of color in innovation and entrepreneurship.

As an advocate for Latina and Black women, I look forward to collaborating with you, our community, and being a source for change. I hope we see more policies in place to empower the communities that were hardest hit by this year’s global pandemic, and that are still being impacted by systemic racism.

The next generation of innovators are counting on us to lead the global shift towards inclusivity and innovation, starting right here and now.
